My name is Grace Chen.
I am the President of Taiwan ROC Chapter.
I am pleased that we are celebrating the 51st anniversary of AMMPE with our sisters of the Mexico Queretaro Chapter.
The Taiwan ROC Chapter still remember with fond memories our participation and your warm hospitality in the 2014 Congress in Queretaro, Mexico.
On your website we also relive the memory of our participation in the 2018 Congress in London.
The Rome Congress this year is unfortunately postponed, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This pandemic is a painful reminder that in this world and in the 21st century no matter where we live and work, you and I breath the same air and face the same danger, and that we all have to work together to overcome whatever is in front of us.
If we join hands, I am sure we will be able to see each other next year in Rome again.
So far the impact of Covid-19 on Taiwan has been relatively moderate - luckily.
Some of the restrictions on social distancing have been lifted already. Economic activities are now picking up, though not entirely normal.
We wish whole-heartedly that our sisters in Mexico will stay safe, happy and prosperous through the rest of this year.
